Anne, Marian star in vivo X300 Ultra camera showdown

The new vivo X300 Ultra proved that smartphone photography can now rival professional cameras during a live fashion shoot led by renowned celebrity and fashion photographer BJ Pascual at Manila House.

Hosted by Joey Mead King and held in front of Manila’s tastemakers and notable personalities, including Georgina Wilson, Bea Soriano, and Eric Dee Jr., the showcase highlighted the imaging power of the vivo X300 Ultra beside a professional mirrorless camera setup.

vivo launches Php 149k flagship, here's why it's worth it

What would it take for a smartphone to replace a full camera kit? vivo is pushing that question to the forefront with the launch of the vivo X300 Ultra in the Philippines.

vivo introduces the vivo X300 Ultra Photographer Kit priced at Php 149,999, available for pre-order until June 5 via vivo stores nationwide and the vivo e-store. It is vivo’s most advanced imaging flagship to date, built for professional-level photography and filmmaking workflows.

The kit transforms the smartphone into a production-ready rig with 200mm and 400mm telephoto extenders, a professional grip, tripod collar ring, lens adapters, and supporting accessories designed for serious field shooting and cinematic workflows.

“The vivo X300 Ultra is a complete imaging system built for professional photography and filmmaking. With its Triple ZEISS Master Lenses, dual 200MP capability, and cinema-grade video tools across all focal lengths, it delivers the output of a full camera kit in a single device," shared vivo Philippines Brand Marketing Director Liu Lu.

The X300 Ultra device itself is available for Php 109,999. For creators seeking even greater reach and precision, the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Gen 2 Kit is also available separately for Php 13,999, enabling 200mm-equivalent long-range imaging.

Pre-order customers will receive exclusive offers including the vivo X Series VIP Exclusive Card with event invitations and lifestyle perks, a free limited edition vivo Watch GT 2 worth Php 7,999, and an exclusive vivo photography bag for e-store purchases. Through Home Credit Philippines, the device is available with flexible terms as low as Php 76 per day at 0% interest.

A flagship with camera-inspired lenses

The vivo X300 Ultra centers its imaging system on an industry-exclusive Triple ZEISS Master Lenses setup built around three focal lengths:

  • 14mm ZEISS Ultra Wide-Angle Camera

  • 35mm ZEISS Documentary Camera

  • 85mm ZEISS Gimbal-Grade APO Telephoto Camera

Instead of relying on a single “do-it-all” lens, the system is designed like a set of dedicated primes, with large sensors and optical image stabilization across all focal lengths for consistent output.

ZEISS telephoto extenders further expand reach up to 200mm and 400mm, enabling long-range shooting without external camera systems.

The device supports Multi-Focal 4K 120fps 10-bit Log Video and Dolby Vision recording across all rear cameras. This allows consistent color depth and dynamic range across focal lengths, supporting post-production workflows and multi-angle content creation.

Performance for uninterrupted creation

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and the Pro Imaging Chip VS1+, the device is built for intensive imaging and video workloads.

A vapor chamber cooling system supports sustained performance, while a 6600mAh BlueVolt Battery with 100W FlashCharge and 40W Wireless FlashCharge enables long shooting sessions. It also includes bypass charging with thermal control for extended use.

The 2K ZEISS Master Color Display reaches up to 4500-nit peak brightness with vivo Refined Color calibration, designed for accurate previewing even under strong outdoor light.

The device comes in Steppe Green with an 8.49mm profile, reinforced by Armor Glass and IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

It runs on OriginOS 6 with five years of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.

The vivo X300 Ultra is now available for pre-order until June 5 via vivo stores nationwide and the vivo e-store. It is a unified imaging system designed to reduce reliance on separate camera equipment, offering professional photography and filmmaking capabilities in a single device. Today at MWC 2026, vivo officially unveiled the groundbreaking video capabilities of its all-new flagship X300 Ultra, a device engineered to push the boundaries of mobile videography. By integrating premier specifications at multiple focal lengths, cinematic color performance, upgraded Log recording, and enhanced audio, the X300 Ultra offers professional creators full freedom in all shooting scenarios and throughout the creative process.

“Building on vivo’s profound heritage in still photography, we are strategically expanding into the dynamic world of video.” said Yu Meng, Vice President of Imaging at vivo. “The video upgrades in the X300 Ultra represent a leap from 'individual imaging capabilities' to 'cinematic video creation capabilities,' making film-level video production more intuitive, fluid, and accessible than ever before.”

X300 Ultra Showcased Cinematic Video Creation Capabilities

Redefining Professional Video Creation with Cinematic Mastery

The X300 Ultra delivers high-spec video recording on all rear cameras, supporting multi-focal 4K 120fps in both 10-bit Log and Dolby Vision. Whether capturing expansive landscapes with an ultra-wide-angle lens or intricate close-ups with a telephoto lens, it provides a consistent and top-tier dynamic imaging experience. Its stabilization performance is equally impressive, featuring full-range OIS with particularly exceptional results at the 85mm focal length, incorporating 3° OIS. This provides creators with an ultra-stable, fast, and crystal-clear solution for cinematic quality, further solidifying X300 Ultra’s professional video prowess across various scenarios.

The X300 Ultra elevates professional imaging to new heights with multi-focal 4K Master Color Video. By merging high-resolution recording with vivo’s sophisticated color science, the device delivers film-like color performance straight out of the camera through end-to-end tone enhancement. The versatile Video Color Palette offers detailed control over tone, saturation, and contrast, empowering creators with the ability to fine-tune every aspect of their footage—from initial capture to post-production—for unparalleled color freedom.

Another significant breakthrough in the X300 Ultra's video capabilities is its pro-grade Log recording on all rear cameras. The device supports 4K 120fps 10-bit Log at multiple focal lengths, ensuring creators consistently enjoy 10-bit color depth and an expansive dynamic range—whether using the ultra-wide, main, or telephoto cameras. The All-New Pro Video Mode takes it a step further, offering a control interface and parameter adjustments akin to professional cinema cameras, further empowering professional creation. The monitoring feature has also been upgraded, supporting the application of custom 3D LUTs for real-time previewing while recording in Log. In addition, vivo Log is now compatible with the ACES workflow. This enables Log footage to be seamlessly integrated and color-graded alongside cinema camera assets within a unified, standardized color space, establishing a comprehensive and open mobile imaging ecosystem that spans from pre-production to post-production.

Sound is treated as an integral part of storytelling. The X300 Ultra features an upgraded Quad-Mic Audio Recording Master. Designed to adapt to diverse shooting environments, it includes six core preset scenarios that intelligently emphasize target sound sources while suppressing ambient noise. This ensures creators capture clean, clear audio that perfectly complements the visual quality of their footage.

A Complete Professional Creation Ecosystem Without Compromise

The X300 Ultra's video capabilities represent a leap from standalone imaging to a comprehensive cinematic system. The device supports a modular suite of cinema-grade accessories—including a Professional Photography Grip, Camera Cage, Cooling Fan, and External Lens Expansion Frame—transforming the device into a highly configurable rig capable of meeting the rigors of high-end production.

Beyond hardware, vivo has optimized the creative workflow through deep R&D investment and collaboration with industry leaders. This comprehensive creative ecosystem spans the entire production pipeline—from shooting and monitoring to audio and post-production—delivering a seamless end-to-end production solution for professional video creators.
