Anne Curtis, BJ Pascual ride rollercoaster shot on vivo X300 Ultra

Capturing a great shot is one thing. Capturing one while your subjects are speeding through a rollercoaster at up to 97 kilometers per hour is another.

Anne and BJ took on the TRON Lightcycle Power Run at Shanghai Disneyland, one of Disneyland’s fastest and most futuristic attractions.

At the heart of the action, the vivo X300 Ultra's 200MP 85mm ZEISS Gimbal-Grade APO Telephoto Camera brought the duo closer into frame, capturing their expressions and reactions as the ride raced through its futuristic track.

https://www.tiktok.com/@vivo_philippines/video/7673361440908135698

Taken at 85mm, f/2.67, 1/200s, ISO 50, the shot showcases the vivo X300 Ultra's dedicated telephoto camera in a challenging, fast-moving environment. Its 3° Gimbal-Grade OIS and 60 fps AF Tracking are designed to help keep moving subjects steady and in focus, making it possible to capture the rush of the ride while keeping Anne and BJ at the center of the frame.

The result goes beyond simply documenting a rollercoaster ride. At 85mm, Anne and BJ's expressions become the story, the laughter, adrenaline, and split-second reactions captured as they hurtle through one of Shanghai Disneyland's most thrilling attractions.

At 97 km/h, there is no time to stop, pose, or ask for another take. The moment happens once, and the camera has to be ready for it.

With its 200MP telephoto camera, high-speed AF tracking, and gimbal-grade stabilization, the vivo X300 Ultra is built to bring fast-moving subjects closer while keeping the action in sight.

The best moments sometimes happen from a distance, at full speed, and without warning. With the vivo X300 Ultra, you can zoom in and keep the excitement in frame.

The vivo X300 Ultra is available for Php 109,999 at vivo Concept Stores nationwide and through the vivo e-store.

vivo X300 Ultra captures Anne Curtis in Shanghai Disneyland

Anne Curtis continued her Shanghai trip at Shanghai Disneyland, where the vivo X300 Ultra captured her at two of the resort’s five branded photo spots, showcasing views of the Enchanted Storybook Castle and Alice in Wonderland Maze.

The photo spots are part of a new vivo and Shanghai Disney Resort alliance that introduced five designated locations across different themed lands, giving guests recommended angles for photographing some of the park’s most recognizable scenes.

After visiting Shanghai’s North Bund and Shikumen areas, Curtis headed to Shanghai Disneyland for a day of exploring and photography. Among the locations she photographed were the Enchanted Storybook Castle, the park’s central fairytale landmark, and the Alice in Wonderland Maze, a colorful attraction inspired by the classic story.

https://www.tiktok.com/@vivo_philippines/video/7671159120132705556

The five vivo-branded photo spots are positioned across different themed lands and include views of the Enchanted Storybook Castle, Alice in Wonderland Maze, Fantasia Carousel, Rex’s Racer, and a designated panoramic park vista. The locations were established as part of the resort alliance between vivo and Shanghai Disney Resort, with recommended compositions intended to help visitors capture the surrounding park scenery.

For Curtis, the locations also served as backdrops for portraits taken with the vivo X300 Ultra. Its ZEISS-powered camera system combines a 200-megapixel main and telephoto camera and a 50-megapixel 14mm-equivalent ultra-wide camera, giving her different focal lengths for portraits and wider environmental shots.

The X300 Ultra’s 200MP portrait and telephoto capabilities help preserve facial detail while allowing subjects to be framed against recognizable landmarks without losing the surrounding context. Its ZEISS Master Color imaging system is designed to maintain natural-looking color and detail across different lighting conditions, making it suited to the changing scenes of a full day at the park.

“It was a very, very busy day but so much fun. Of course, what a way to end it at Shanghai Disneyland. They say it is the happiest place on earth, and it truly was the happiest day today. Thank you so much vivo family. I really had so much fun,” Curtis said.

“Travel photography is ultimately about helping people keep the feeling of a place long after the trip is over,” said Liu Lu, vivo Philippines Brand Marketing Director. “With the official photo spots at Shanghai Disneyland and the imaging capabilities of the X300 Ultra, guests have new ways to frame both the landmark and the personal moments that make the visit memorable.”

Beyond photography, the vivo X300 Ultra is equipped for extended travel use with a 6,600mAh BlueVolt battery, 100W FlashCharge, and 40W wireless charging. It also supports multi-focal 4K 120fps video recording and carries IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. The device runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and features a 6.82-inch 2K AMOLED display.

The vivo X300 Ultra is available in the Philippines for Php 109,999 through the vivo e-store and vivo authorized retail channels.

Curtis’ Shanghai Disneyland visit continues her ongoing exploration of the city with the vivo X300 Ultra. Follow vivo Philippines on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, and TikTok for more highlights from Anne Curtis' visit to Shanghai.

Anne Curtis explores Shanghai through vivo X300 Ultra's lens

Anne Curtis traded the studio for the streets of Shanghai as she explored two of the city's most recognizable destinations through the lens of the vivo X300 Ultra, joining celebrated fashion photographer BJ Pascual for the smartphone brand's latest global campaign shoot.

Set against the futuristic North Bund skyline and the preserved stone-gate lanes of Shikumen in Huangpu District, the shoot highlighted Shanghai's blend of modern architecture and cultural heritage while allowing Curtis to put vivo's flagship camera smartphone to the test in real-world settings.

https://www.tiktok.com/@vivo_philippines/video/7669600943486323989

One of the first stops was the Silver Egg at the North Bund, where Curtis experimented with vivo X300 Ultra's 200-megapixel 85mm ZEISS Gimbal-Grade APO Telephoto Camera to photograph the Oriental Pearl TV Tower from afar.

Reviewing the image, she pointed out how the smartphone was able to tightly frame the landmark, showcasing its red circular rooftop. "This is how tight you can get. That's crazy. Insane," Curtis said after capturing the shot.

The production later moved to Shikumen, a historic neighborhood known for its traditional stone-gate architecture and pedestrian streets. Surrounded by preserved heritage buildings, Curtis reflected on how the location offered more than just a backdrop for the campaign.

"I really love where we're shooting right now, which is considered like a heritage promenade, so I get to see a lot of heritage architecture, not only just see it but shoot alongside it," she said.

Photographed by BJ, the campaign combined fashion, travel, and street photography across two distinctly different settings, showcasing how the city's contrasting landscapes can be captured using a single device.

"Shanghai offers an incredible visual contrast between contemporary architecture and historic neighborhoods, making it an ideal setting to demonstrate what the vivo X300 Ultra is capable of in the hands of creators," said vivo Philippines Brand Marketing Director Liu Lu. "The campaign reflects how today's smartphone photography can adapt to different environments while preserving detail, depth, and perspective."

The vivo X300 Ultra is vivo's most advanced camera smartphone to date. Developed with a ZEISS imaging system, it features a 200-megapixel 85mm ZEISS Gimbal-Grade APO Telephoto Camera, a 200-megapixel 35mm ZEISS Documentary Camera, and a 50-megapixel 14mm ZEISS Ultra Wide-Angle Camera. The smartphone is designed to deliver professional-quality images across multiple focal lengths, supporting everything from portraits and street photography to landscapes and documentary-style photography.

Follow vivo Philippines on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, and TikTok for more highlights from Anne Curtis' visit to Shanghai. The vivo X300 Ultra, which she experienced during the campaign shoot, is now available for Php 109,999 at vivo concept stores nationwide and through the vivo e-store.

See how X300 Ultra is made with Anne Curtis at vivo Global HQ

Most people experience a smartphone only after it reaches store shelves. Few ever get the chance to see what happens before that.

During her recent trip to Dongguan, China, actress and vivo Philippines ambassador Anne Curtis stepped inside vivo Global Headquarters for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how the vivo X300 Ultra comes to life. From intelligent manufacturing to imaging innovation, the visit offered a rare glimpse into technology, craftsmanship, and people behind vivo's latest flagship smartphone.

For Anne, it was an opportunity to discover the story behind every photo, long before the shutter button is ever pressed.

Where innovation comes to life

Walking through vivo Global Headquarters' production facility, Anne watched as smartphones after smartphones moved through the production line with remarkable precision. Robotic arms assembled components with millimeter accuracy while engineers carefully monitored every stage to ensure each device met vivo standards.

Throughout Amid the synchronized movement of machines and people, one detail stood out: powered by advanced manufacturing technology, a new vivo smartphone is produced every 11.4 seconds.

The impressive pace reflects vivo's manufacturing capabilities, combining intelligent automation with meticulous quality control to deliver smartphones to users around the world.

Anne also discovered that building the vivo X300 Ultra goes far beyond efficient manufacturing.

Before reaching consumers, every flagship device undergoes multiple rounds of testing for performance, durability, and imaging excellence. Each stage is carefully designed to ensure the X300 Ultra delivers the premium experience expected from vivo's flagship X Series, from everyday reliability to professional-grade imaging performance.

Witnessing the process firsthand offered Anne a deeper appreciation for the engineering, craftsmanship, and attention to detail invested in every flagship smartphone.

The technology behind every great shot

As someone who has spent years in front of the camera, one part of the experience resonated with Anne the most: discovering what powers the vivo X300 Ultra's imaging system.

She learned more about ZEISS, the world-renowned German optics brand with more than 180 years of expertise in precision imaging and lens innovation.

The global partnership between vivo and ZEISS combines decades of optical excellence with advanced smartphone engineering to push the boundaries of mobile photography. Together, they continue to unlock a new era of imaging, enabling users to capture professional-quality portraits, landscapes, and everyday moments with remarkable clarity.

vivo launches Php 149k flagship, here's why it's worth it

What would it take for a smartphone to replace a full camera kit? vivo is pushing that question to the forefront with the launch of the vivo X300 Ultra in the Philippines.

vivo introduces the vivo X300 Ultra Photographer Kit priced at Php 149,999, available for pre-order until June 5 via vivo stores nationwide and the vivo e-store. It is vivo’s most advanced imaging flagship to date, built for professional-level photography and filmmaking workflows.

The kit transforms the smartphone into a production-ready rig with 200mm and 400mm telephoto extenders, a professional grip, tripod collar ring, lens adapters, and supporting accessories designed for serious field shooting and cinematic workflows.

“The vivo X300 Ultra is a complete imaging system built for professional photography and filmmaking. With its Triple ZEISS Master Lenses, dual 200MP capability, and cinema-grade video tools across all focal lengths, it delivers the output of a full camera kit in a single device," shared vivo Philippines Brand Marketing Director Liu Lu.

The X300 Ultra device itself is available for Php 109,999. For creators seeking even greater reach and precision, the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Gen 2 Kit is also available separately for Php 13,999, enabling 200mm-equivalent long-range imaging.

A flagship with camera-inspired lenses

  • 14mm ZEISS Ultra Wide-Angle Camera

  • 35mm ZEISS Documentary Camera

  • 85mm ZEISS Gimbal-Grade APO Telephoto Camera

Instead of relying on a single “do-it-all” lens, the system is designed like a set of dedicated primes, with large sensors and optical image stabilization across all focal lengths for consistent output.

ZEISS telephoto extenders further expand reach up to 200mm and 400mm, enabling long-range shooting without external camera systems.

The device supports Multi-Focal 4K 120fps 10-bit Log Video and Dolby Vision recording across all rear cameras. This allows consistent color depth and dynamic range across focal lengths, supporting post-production workflows and multi-angle content creation.

Performance for uninterrupted creation

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and the Pro Imaging Chip VS1+, the device is built for intensive imaging and video workloads.

A vapor chamber cooling system supports sustained performance, while a 6600mAh BlueVolt Battery with 100W FlashCharge and 40W Wireless FlashCharge enables long shooting sessions. It also includes bypass charging with thermal control for extended use.

The 2K ZEISS Master Color Display reaches up to 4500-nit peak brightness with vivo Refined Color calibration, designed for accurate previewing even under strong outdoor light.

The device comes in Steppe Green with an 8.49mm profile, reinforced by Armor Glass and IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

It runs on OriginOS 6 with five years of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.

vivo Philippines is about to reveal something Ultra on May 23 via FB live

What if a smartphone camera could approach the creative control of a professional production setup?

This is the idea surrounding the upcoming vivo X300 Ultra, the brand’s newest flagship set to be unveiled in the Philippines via Facebook livestream on May 23 at 6 PM.

A cinematic shift

Rather than refining conventional smartphone photography, the vivo X300 Ultra explores a more cinematic direction, drawing inspiration from professional production workflows where lighting, framing, and depth are intentionally crafted rather than simply captured.

This signals a shift in how mobile imaging is positioned: not just as a tool for documentation, but as a medium capable of more deliberate, visually expressive storytelling.

Before the official reveal, vivo has offered a glimpse into its imaging philosophy.

https://www.tiktok.com/@vivo_philippines/video/7641832533763591442

It reflects vivo’s continued push to bridge smartphone convenience with the precision and discipline of production-level visual creation.

The direction raises a central question for creators and tech enthusiasts: how close can mobile imaging get to the creative flexibility of a pro-level camera system used in production work?

Watch the livestream

The answer will be revealed live with top celebrity and fashion photographer BJ Pascual, demonstrating the vivo X300 Ultra's imaging power through a photoshoot with influential superstars Anne Curtis and Marian Rivera.

The public is invited to tune in to the official livestream on May 23, 2026, at 6 PM via the vivo Philippines Facebook page, and be among the first to witness what “Ultra” truly means for the next generation of mobile imaging.
