Anne Curtis, BJ Pascual ride rollercoaster shot on vivo X300 Ultra

Capturing a great shot is one thing. Capturing one while your subjects are speeding through a rollercoaster at up to 97 kilometers per hour is another.

Anne and BJ took on the TRON Lightcycle Power Run at Shanghai Disneyland, one of Disneyland’s fastest and most futuristic attractions.

At the heart of the action, the vivo X300 Ultra's 200MP 85mm ZEISS Gimbal-Grade APO Telephoto Camera brought the duo closer into frame, capturing their expressions and reactions as the ride raced through its futuristic track.

https://www.tiktok.com/@vivo_philippines/video/7673361440908135698

Taken at 85mm, f/2.67, 1/200s, ISO 50, the shot showcases the vivo X300 Ultra's dedicated telephoto camera in a challenging, fast-moving environment. Its 3° Gimbal-Grade OIS and 60 fps AF Tracking are designed to help keep moving subjects steady and in focus, making it possible to capture the rush of the ride while keeping Anne and BJ at the center of the frame.

The result goes beyond simply documenting a rollercoaster ride. At 85mm, Anne and BJ's expressions become the story, the laughter, adrenaline, and split-second reactions captured as they hurtle through one of Shanghai Disneyland's most thrilling attractions.

At 97 km/h, there is no time to stop, pose, or ask for another take. The moment happens once, and the camera has to be ready for it.

With its 200MP telephoto camera, high-speed AF tracking, and gimbal-grade stabilization, the vivo X300 Ultra is built to bring fast-moving subjects closer while keeping the action in sight.

The best moments sometimes happen from a distance, at full speed, and without warning. With the vivo X300 Ultra, you can zoom in and keep the excitement in frame.

The vivo X300 Ultra is available for Php 109,999 at vivo Concept Stores nationwide and through the vivo e-store.

vivo X300 Ultra captures Anne Curtis in Shanghai Disneyland

Anne Curtis continued her Shanghai trip at Shanghai Disneyland, where the vivo X300 Ultra captured her at two of the resort’s five branded photo spots, showcasing views of the Enchanted Storybook Castle and Alice in Wonderland Maze.

The photo spots are part of a new vivo and Shanghai Disney Resort alliance that introduced five designated locations across different themed lands, giving guests recommended angles for photographing some of the park’s most recognizable scenes.

After visiting Shanghai’s North Bund and Shikumen areas, Curtis headed to Shanghai Disneyland for a day of exploring and photography. Among the locations she photographed were the Enchanted Storybook Castle, the park’s central fairytale landmark, and the Alice in Wonderland Maze, a colorful attraction inspired by the classic story.

https://www.tiktok.com/@vivo_philippines/video/7671159120132705556

The five vivo-branded photo spots are positioned across different themed lands and include views of the Enchanted Storybook Castle, Alice in Wonderland Maze, Fantasia Carousel, Rex’s Racer, and a designated panoramic park vista. The locations were established as part of the resort alliance between vivo and Shanghai Disney Resort, with recommended compositions intended to help visitors capture the surrounding park scenery.

For Curtis, the locations also served as backdrops for portraits taken with the vivo X300 Ultra. Its ZEISS-powered camera system combines a 200-megapixel main and telephoto camera and a 50-megapixel 14mm-equivalent ultra-wide camera, giving her different focal lengths for portraits and wider environmental shots.

The X300 Ultra’s 200MP portrait and telephoto capabilities help preserve facial detail while allowing subjects to be framed against recognizable landmarks without losing the surrounding context. Its ZEISS Master Color imaging system is designed to maintain natural-looking color and detail across different lighting conditions, making it suited to the changing scenes of a full day at the park.

“It was a very, very busy day but so much fun. Of course, what a way to end it at Shanghai Disneyland. They say it is the happiest place on earth, and it truly was the happiest day today. Thank you so much vivo family. I really had so much fun,” Curtis said.

“Travel photography is ultimately about helping people keep the feeling of a place long after the trip is over,” said Liu Lu, vivo Philippines Brand Marketing Director. “With the official photo spots at Shanghai Disneyland and the imaging capabilities of the X300 Ultra, guests have new ways to frame both the landmark and the personal moments that make the visit memorable.”

Beyond photography, the vivo X300 Ultra is equipped for extended travel use with a 6,600mAh BlueVolt battery, 100W FlashCharge, and 40W wireless charging. It also supports multi-focal 4K 120fps video recording and carries IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. The device runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and features a 6.82-inch 2K AMOLED display.

The vivo X300 Ultra is available in the Philippines for Php 109,999 through the vivo e-store and vivo authorized retail channels.

Curtis’ Shanghai Disneyland visit continues her ongoing exploration of the city with the vivo X300 Ultra. Follow vivo Philippines on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, and TikTok for more highlights from Anne Curtis' visit to Shanghai.

Filipinos revisit the memories behind their vivo phones through #MyvivoStory

From first phones and unforgettable moments to family memories and travel photos, vivo users are sharing the stories that made their devices part of their lives, all for a chance to win a vivo V70 or a limited-edition vivo Bluetooth Speaker.

Through #MyvivoStory, vivo Philippines is inviting its community to revisit different chapters of their journey with their vivo phones through a series of weekly questions, from “What’s your first vivo phone?” and “What’s your vivo story?” to “Trust vivo moment” and ''Travel with vivo.''

The responses reveal that behind every device is more than a model name or set of specifications. For many users, their vivo phones have been there to capture relationships, family milestones, adventures, and everyday moments they want to remember.

vivo Stories

  • Rodrod Pimentel — vivo Y81: “What’s Your First vivo Phone?”

For Rodrod Pimentel, his vivo story began in 2018 with vivo Y81. More than eight years later, Rodrod says his first vivo phone remains functional despite going through several unexpected mishaps.

''I accidentally left it in my pants' pocket before putting through the laundry, I dropped it multiple times, and even had my 10-year-old niece accidentally jump over it, yet, the phone continues to work,'' he shared.

While Rodrod’s story highlights the durability he experienced with his device, it also shows how a phone can become part of someone’s life simply by staying with them through the years.

What started as his first vivo phone remained with him through countless everyday moments, making the device a memorable part of his journey with the brand.

  • Christine Redondo - from vivo V23 to vivo V70: ''Trust vivo moment''

Christine Redondo's journey with vivo began with her eldest child, whom she photographed using a vivo V23. Now, as she documents the milestones of her youngest, she continues the tradition with the vivo V70.

From one child to another and from one vivo phone to the next, Christine has trusted the brand’s camera to document the little moments that mark how quickly her children grow.

“Ang trust vivo moment ko ay tuwing kinukuhanan ko ang anak ko ng monthly milestone nila. Mula sa panganay ko, vivo V23 ang gamit ko. Ngayon, sa bunso ko, vivo V70 naman. Thank you, vivo, sa magandang camera,” she shared.

Her story shows that a “Trust vivo moment” can be found in the everyday moments parents never want to miss, from a baby's monthly milestone to the little changes that happen between each photo.

  • Keith Andrew Pacio — vivo X200: “What’s Your vivo Story?”

Keith Andrew Pacio's vivo story is about being able to capture a spectacular moment as it happened.

Using his vivo X200, Keith photographed the pyromusical event at SM Mall of Asia, capturing the fireworks lighting up the night sky as spectators watched the show.

For Keith, the image became a standout example of what his vivo X200 could capture, preserving the colors, movement, and excitement of the moment even after the spectacle had ended.

“Using my vivo X200, I didn't have any issues capturing great images. One of the best samples here is this photo. It captured the moment perfectly when we were watching the pyromusical event in SM MOA,” he shared.

Calling it a “definite wow moment,” Keith’s story shows how smartphone photography can turn fleeting experiences into memories that can be revisited long after the moment has passed.

  • Joyal Hope - vivo V29: ''Travel with vivo''

For Joyal Hope, one of her favorite vivo memories comes from a milestone her family will not soon forget: their first-ever family trip abroad.

During their trip to Hong Kong, Joyal used her vivo V29 to capture a family photo at Madame Tussauds, preserving not only the moment but also the joy and excitement of experiencing a new destination together.

“My favorite photo was taken at Hong Kong Madame Tussauds during our first-ever family trip abroad. My vivo V29 beautifully captured not just the moment, but the joy, excitement, and love we shared that day,” she shared.

For Joyal, the photograph has become more than a travel souvenir. Every time she looks at it, she is reminded of the happiness they shared and the people she experienced that milestone with.

Her story also reflects what the latest #MyvivoStory is all about: “Share your favorite travel photos captured on your vivo phone,'' which invites the community to share their favorite travel photos captured on their vivo phones.

More vivo stories to tell

The stories shared so far are only the beginning of vivo Philippines’ #MyvivoStory conversation.

From a first vivo phone that stayed with its owner for years, to a photograph that captured the early days of a relationship, to the milestones of growing children and a family’s first trip abroad, each response reveals a different way that vivo phones have become part of people’s lives.

As the series continues, vivo Philippines is giving its community more opportunities to share these personal experiences through its weekly questions.

Those who want to join can follow vivo Philippines on Facebook, answer each Question of the Week, and use #MyvivoStory, #vivoxAnneCurtis and #vivoX300Ultra when sharing their responses.

Participants who complete all the Questions of the Week will get a chance to win a brand-new vivo V70 or a limited-edition vivo Bluetooth Speaker for free.

Through #MyvivoStory, vivo Philippines continues to turn a simple question about a phone into a collection of stories about the people, places, and moments that make each device meaningful.

Calling all vivo users: Get exclusive engraving perks this weekend

Existing vivo users have a new reason to visit the vivo SM Mall of Asia Exclusive Store this weekend as vivo Philippines launches "My vivo, My Mark," a two-day event featuring exclusive engraving perks, including a Php 99 limited-edition tumbler for eligible vivo users and complimentary laser engraving for customers who purchase a vivo Y31d smartphone or vivo TWS earphones.

The event, held in partnership with Markd and powered by xTool laser customization technology, runs from August 8 to 9, 2026.

The activation marks the first in-store collaboration between vivo and Markd in the Philippines, bringing laser personalization into a vivo concept store. It aims to give customers a more personalized in-store experience while introducing a new way to customize select vivo products and exclusive merchandise.

Customers who purchase vivo Y31d or vivo TWS earphones during the promo period will receive one complimentary on-site laser engraving session. They may personalize either the earphone charging case or the vivo Y31d back panel with up to five English letters or numbers, with each engraving completed in approximately three to five minutes.

Meanwhile, existing vivo users who visit the store with any vivo smartphone may purchase a limited-edition vivo-branded aluminum tumbler for Php 99 after completing an on-site registration. Participants must present any vivo smartphone and provide their device's IMEI number, one valid government-issued ID, and a mobile number. Each eligible customer may purchase one tumbler while supplies last.

"We're always looking for ways to make the in-store experience more meaningful for our customers," said Liu Lu, Brand Marketing Director of vivo Philippines. "Through My vivo, My Mark, we're introducing a simple but personal touch that lets customers leave the store with something uniquely their own while celebrating their connection with the vivo brand."

Dedicated registration and customization stations will be set up inside the vivo Concept Store at SM Mall of Asia to streamline customer flow, with laser engraving performed on-site by Markd technicians using xTool equipment.

Follow vivo Philippines on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, and TikTok for updates on the "My vivo, My Mark" event and future in-store experiences.

Anne Curtis explores Shanghai through vivo X300 Ultra's lens

Anne Curtis traded the studio for the streets of Shanghai as she explored two of the city's most recognizable destinations through the lens of the vivo X300 Ultra, joining celebrated fashion photographer BJ Pascual for the smartphone brand's latest global campaign shoot.

Set against the futuristic North Bund skyline and the preserved stone-gate lanes of Shikumen in Huangpu District, the shoot highlighted Shanghai's blend of modern architecture and cultural heritage while allowing Curtis to put vivo's flagship camera smartphone to the test in real-world settings.

https://www.tiktok.com/@vivo_philippines/video/7669600943486323989

One of the first stops was the Silver Egg at the North Bund, where Curtis experimented with vivo X300 Ultra's 200-megapixel 85mm ZEISS Gimbal-Grade APO Telephoto Camera to photograph the Oriental Pearl TV Tower from afar.

Reviewing the image, she pointed out how the smartphone was able to tightly frame the landmark, showcasing its red circular rooftop. "This is how tight you can get. That's crazy. Insane," Curtis said after capturing the shot.

The production later moved to Shikumen, a historic neighborhood known for its traditional stone-gate architecture and pedestrian streets. Surrounded by preserved heritage buildings, Curtis reflected on how the location offered more than just a backdrop for the campaign.

"I really love where we're shooting right now, which is considered like a heritage promenade, so I get to see a lot of heritage architecture, not only just see it but shoot alongside it," she said.

Photographed by BJ, the campaign combined fashion, travel, and street photography across two distinctly different settings, showcasing how the city's contrasting landscapes can be captured using a single device.

"Shanghai offers an incredible visual contrast between contemporary architecture and historic neighborhoods, making it an ideal setting to demonstrate what the vivo X300 Ultra is capable of in the hands of creators," said vivo Philippines Brand Marketing Director Liu Lu. "The campaign reflects how today's smartphone photography can adapt to different environments while preserving detail, depth, and perspective."

The vivo X300 Ultra is vivo's most advanced camera smartphone to date. Developed with a ZEISS imaging system, it features a 200-megapixel 85mm ZEISS Gimbal-Grade APO Telephoto Camera, a 200-megapixel 35mm ZEISS Documentary Camera, and a 50-megapixel 14mm ZEISS Ultra Wide-Angle Camera. The smartphone is designed to deliver professional-quality images across multiple focal lengths, supporting everything from portraits and street photography to landscapes and documentary-style photography.

Follow vivo Philippines on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, and TikTok for more highlights from Anne Curtis' visit to Shanghai. The vivo X300 Ultra, which she experienced during the campaign shoot, is now available for Php 109,999 at vivo concept stores nationwide and through the vivo e-store.

Scottie Thompson, Scotty Pippen Jr. unite at vivo x NBA event

Two accomplished point guards from different sides of the basketball world came together as special guests at the vivo x NBA Meet & Greet, where PBA star Scottie Thompson joined Memphis Grizzlies guard Scotty Pippen Jr. on July 30 at vivo Concept Store, SM Megamall, sharing insights on leadership, perseverance, and life on and off the court.

The event carried special personal significance for Thompson, who revealed that he was named after Pippen Jr.'s father, six-time NBA champion Scottie Pippen, because of his own father's admiration for the Chicago Bulls legend.

"It's truly an honor to meet Scotty. I'm sure my dad would be very proud," Thompson shared during his onstage conversation with host KC Montero, describing the encounter as a full-circle moment.

The admiration was mutual. When asked about meeting Thompson during his visit to the Philippines, Pippen Jr. said he was equally amazed by the story behind the PBA star's name.

"Definitely cool. He's a cool dude and a super accomplished player. Just hearing all the accolades he's achieved is surreal. It's also crazy that he was named after my dad and now, years later, we're both here together. It's really cool to meet someone like that," Pippen Jr. shared.

Scotty Pippen Jr. and Scottie Thompson with KC Montero (host) during the Q&A

The exclusive gathering, held at the vivo Concept Store in SM Megamall on July 30, gave fans a rare opportunity to interact with two elite point guards whose basketball journeys have inspired countless athletes in their respective leagues.

Two point guards, one passion

Throughout the afternoon, Thompson and Pippen Jr. reflected on the experiences that shaped their careers and the values that continue to guide them as leaders on the court.

Pippen Jr. looked back on the perseverance that helped him reach the NBA, beginning with Vanderbilt University before joining the Los Angeles Lakers in 2022 as a two-way player then working his way through the NBA G League and eventually earning a spot with the Memphis Grizzlies.

"The main thing for me is confidence. In college, I was the best player on my team, but when I got to the NBA, you kind of start at the bottom. Just working hard every day, instilling confidence in yourself, knowing you belong, and believing you should be there really helped me," Pippen Jr. shared.

Thompson, meanwhile, shared how years of hard work transformed him from a collegiate standout into a PBA Most Valuable Player, multiple-time champion, and one of the country's premier floor generals.

"For me, I just keep pushing myself every single day. I keep working hard. It shows in my game because what I do in practice is the same thing I bring onto the court," Thompson said.

Although their journeys unfolded in different leagues and basketball cultures, both stars shared the same message: success comes from hard work, perseverance, discipline, and putting the team above yourself.

The conversation also gave fans a glimpse into what it takes to become an elite point guard. While their paths have been different, both emphasized that leadership, making the right decisions under pressure, and helping teammates succeed are qualities that transcend any league or level of competition.

Connecting with Filipino fans

Fans became part of the conversation during an interactive Q&A session, where they asked both athletes about basketball, their personal interests, and the lessons they've learned throughout their careers.

When asked by a fan who had the biggest influence on his basketball journey, Pippen Jr. immediately credited his father.

"My biggest influence on my basketball journey is my dad. Growing up with someone who played in the NBA and has so much knowledge of the game, he was always pouring into me, giving me advice and tips that I still use to this day," Pippen Jr. shared.

Thompson also gave fans a glimpse of the person behind the athlete. When asked what might surprise people about him, the PBA star answered with a smile: "I'm a family man."
The simple yet heartfelt response drew smiles from the audience and reminded fans that, beyond his accomplishments on the court, Thompson takes the greatest pride in being a family-oriented person.

Both players also expressed their appreciation for Filipino basketball fans, praising the country's unmatched passion for the sport and the energy that filled the venue throughout the afternoon.

Peek inside vivo Global HQ with Anne Curtis

What truly drives innovation on a global scale? Behind every smartphone lies not only cutting-edge technology and precision manufacturing, but also the people, culture, and vision that bring it to life.

After touring vivo's intelligent manufacturing facilities at its Global Headquarters, Anne Curtis—Filipino actress and vivo Philippines Brand Ambassador—continued her journey through the headquarters campus in Dongguan, China. From its architecture and corporate culture to its innovative vision and social responsibility, she discovered how innovation is woven into every aspect of vivo.

More than a tour

For Anne, the headquarters tour revealed a side of vivo that goes beyond technology. From its people and culture to the ideas behind its products, the visit gave her a deeper understanding of what defines the brand.

"It was always great to learn more about vivo in detail. It was such a variety; the brand that keeps on innovating," Anne shared.

Together, these experiences painted a more complete picture of vivo as a brand.
