vivo is set to release the vivo V80 Lite, featuring a 10,000mAh BlueVolt Battery — the largest battery capacity ever offered by vivo globally — giving Filipinos a new option for staying powered through longer days without constantly reaching for a charger. The V80 Lite is designed to address one of the most practical concerns for smartphone users: how long a phone can actually last between charges. Powered by 4th Gen Silicon Anode Technology, its 10,000mAh battery is engineered to deliver extended endurance without adding the bulk typically associated with a battery of this size. Just how far can a 10,000mAh battery really go? vivo will put the V80 Lite’s endurance to the test in a record-setting feat to be revealed soon. For now, vivo laboratory tests provide an early look at what the battery can deliver. The V80 Lite lasted up to 30 hours of video streaming, 30 hours of TikTok playback, 68 hours of phone calls, and 14 hours of MLBB gaming in single-app usage scenarios. Tests were conducted under controlled laboratory conditions, including an ambient temperature of 25±2°C, with the phone starting at 100% charge.

“Battery capacity only matters if it translates into time people can actually use their phones,” said Liu Lu, Brand Marketing Director at vivo Philippines. “With the V80 Lite, we focused on making a larger battery practical for everyday use while also building it to remain dependable over the years.”

Built for years, not just longer days

Beyond endurance on a single charge, the V80 Lite is engineered to maintain at least 80% battery health after 1,400 charging cycles. Based on vivo’s laboratory-simulated daily usage pattern of approximately 1.83 days per full charge and discharge, this is equivalent to roughly seven years of use.

The phone is also designed to remain functional across a wide range of temperatures, from -30°C to 45°C. Its semi-solid electrolyte is engineered to provide stable power even in high-heat conditions — a consideration particularly relevant in the Philippines, where people routinely use their phones outdoors in hot weather.

In vivo laboratory testing at 45°C, the V80 Lite endured up to 45 hours of continuous calls and 16 hours of navigation.
